California Bike Trip 2004

Late August Dave and I decided to head down to California for 11 days. We got rained on the first few days and the last few days, but at least California was pretty dry... :)

The first leg of our trip took us down the same path as on my earlier trip with the sport bikes. We decided to stop and check out the dam on the way to Libby.)
We got dumped on during the first days' ride, and we hadn't bagged our luggage, so everything got wet. Time to dry it all off...)

First day of the trip and I ripped the rubber bootie that keeps my boots dry, so my right foot got soaked. This rig was designed to dry my boot. Don't try this at home kids...
